Stay calm, pray & do your best!

Summer is a time of happy holidays abroad or entertaining activities for the children at home in Hong Kong. But money is scarce for some parents of children from ethnic minorities. Such holidays are an impossible dream for children whose parents are struggling to make ends meet.

I'm happy to say that our SHINE centre for Ethnic Minorities is helping at least some of those children to enjoy the holidays and at the same time be encouraged to make their own dreams come true.

Courage That Inspires

Courageous people always inspire me! Marshanda, an Indonesian domestic helper, is one of those people. Orphans come in all cultures

Last week I told you about my recent trip to Qinghai Province when we visited Xining Children's Home. We also took our group of visitors to Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, where we have been co-managing Huangnan Children's Home since 2008.

Doubling the Accomplishments!

Two weeks ago I went to Qinghai Province, something I like to do three or four times a year. The Riches of Friendship

Ask any Hong Kong resident for his thoughts on the small town of Tin Shui Wai, and the response will probably be "Poverty!" or one of poverty's closely associated labels, which are social problems.

As you know, Jesus had many things to say about those who are poor. All of those things urge Christians to take action, so a few weeks ago Dr. Yue Kwok To (CA Exco Board Member) and I attended the opening ceremony of our action called Pathways to Hope.
