You may not know...

You may be a newcomer to the work of Christian Action, or perhaps you're not! In either case, it would be good if you could start the year by reading the article in the West Malaysia Anglican Messenger. If you're a newcomer you will learn how Christian Action's service began, and if you've been a contributor to CA's work for some time, the article will be a refresher, reminding you of why you have seen the importance of this service.

A view of the article in Anglican Messenger magazine!

I hope you've enjoyed the Christmas and New Year holidays as much as I have. It was delightful to take time out with family and friends.

One of those friends is Goh Hai Bee, one of St. Mary's previous headmistresses. She sent me the article which she has written. The West Malaysia Anglican Messenger is a faith-based e-magazine. Go Hai Bee wrote the article last summer after her Qinghai Vision trip. I am deeply thankful for her support of Christian Action and all that we do to serve the unserved.

The article, titled God's Affirmation, Appointments, Anointing, and Assignments, shows the ways in which God has worked in and through me to draw attention to those in need of our care. God called me to this work, and He can also use you or anyone else who is willing to serve others. God is faithful, and enables those he calls, sometimes to serve in the most unexpected places.

I encourage you to take a look at the magazine and the article. It can be downloaded here. May you be filled with love, and be ready to serve the unserved with us in the year ahead.
