Peace in The New Year

New Year greetings from the United Kingdom!

There's always a deep churning of emotions surrounding the year's end and the birth of another new beginning. Some look forward to the new year with great anticipation, giving 2016 a big "sayonara"! Others are a bit more apprehensive, unsure of where 2017 may lead.

While we don't know for certain what lies ahead in the new year, I pray that you would have a real, lasting peace. A peace that come what may, highs and lows, there will be a still calm in your heart. I've come to know that peace and it's found in a person, Jesus Christ - also known as the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).

My prayer for you in 2017 is that Jesus' peace would bring you and your family a restful mind and heart full of hope in the year to come. "Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you." (2 Thessalonians 3:16 NIV)
