Save Our Home

For over 30 years the New Horizons Building in Kowloon East has served tens of thousands of people in this area. Now our home and main service and training centre is listed for demolition under the government's redevelopment plan.

Since communicating this news to you in my blog entry in August we have continued to communicate with various District Councilors and government members, pleading for reconsideration. Progress has been slow, but I'm grateful for the positive responses we have received so far.

In December, we got together a collection of over 1,000 letters from supporters, service users, donors and staff all voicing their support for Christian Action to stay at New Horizons Building and continue our contributions to the community. It was a great step forward and I'm grateful for all your support.

While discussions are ongoing, I am confident that with your prayer support God is at work. I humbly ask for your continued prayers to retain our home so that we can continue God's work in serving the community we have helped for over 30 years. With much hope and faith, I remain positive that we will move forward.
