A Blessed Christmas!

A Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

We've reached the end of another year, and Christmas is just around the corner. I look forward to spending time with my family, looking back on God's blessings in our own lives, and in the work of Christian Action.

This year was marked by several milestones in our family. In May, our son, Danial, graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of British Columbia. Marlon and I were there to support him. He returned to Hong Kong and has begun working as a research assistant at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He gave a third of his first month's pay to Christian Action! We are so proud to have a son who knows the value of paying it forward.

Marlon and I have been busy with our work in Hong Kong and Qinghai. I have been serving in Hong Kong for over 30 years, and our work in Qinghai has been going on for 21 years. During those years, we have helped countless underprivileged and vulnerable people, and have helped to transform the lives of many children. It's at humbling times like these when I am reminded of God's blessing on the success of this ministry. He is the vine, and we are the branches. Without Him, none of this would have been possible.

It is so beautiful that Christmas is the celebration of the humble beginnings of our Lord Jesus —a baby born in a manger. His presence gives me strength and hope, and it is always a reminder that with God, all things are possible.

As we celebrate Jesus this Christmas season, I pray His warmth and love will fill your hearts and your homes.

Wishing you a blessed and joyous Christmas,

Siew Mei, Marlon and Danial
