A Leap of Faith

Chinese New Year is fast approaching. I love this time of year! It is a time for families and friends to gather and celebrate together, and time to reflect on the past year. It is also the time to look towards the year to come. As this new year begins, I encourage you to face it with courage.

Try something new, make new friends, connect with someone you haven't spoken with in a while, and finally, work hard to make your dreams come true.

As I look ahead, the phrase ‘leap of faith' comes to mind. Christian Action will be taking its own leap of faith this year when we move to our new headquarters in Choi Wan Estate. Though the transition will certainly be challenging, we look forward to the opportunities this new building will bring. At the Choi Wan site, with renovated facilities and a range of new programmes, we will be serving even more people in need.

While we look forward to celebrating Chinese New Year with our loved ones, remember those who are not able to enjoy this occasion. Please pray with us for the vulnerable communities we serve and especially the disadvantaged children in Hong Kong and Qinghai who don't get to experience family gatherings. May God bless them abundantly for the new year.

May this holiday inspire us all to renew our faith in God as we continue in our mission to serve the unserved.
