Wondering How You Can Bless Others This Chinese New Year?

This year’s Chinese New Year falls on February 10th 2024. Let’s bless the disadvantaged in this festive season when we enjoy ourselves with the best food and family reunion. Christian Action is bringing back the Blessings Bag program and I would love you join in!

Last year, I shared the story of Hiu Ching, who attended our After-School Child Care and Interest Classes at our Mong Kok Center. Her family’s finances were so precarious that they couldn’t even afford traditional Chinese New Year delicacies like mushrooms and Chinese sausages. It was like a dark cloud had descended on them.

To help families like Hiu Ching’s we started the ‘Blessing Bag’ campaign. The program enables us to deliver CNY Blessing Bags to the neediest in the city. When you give your act of kindness provides the recipient with a bag that is filled with delicacies and helps to spread the message of love to every corner of the community. This is the true spirit of the Lunar New Year festivities.
