She Is Alive!

She is alive! She is alive! Dou Ge's brain tumor was successfully removed and the doctors believe it to be benign. She is alive! She is alive! Can you believe how big this is for her? Only last month I was filled with dread as I asked you to pray - today this beautiful girl is tumor free and has her entire life to look forward to. If Dou Ge was your child what would you be shouting? Shout with me: "She is alive! She is alive!"

Last weekend, Sunday December 13th, Dou Ge, woke up at 9am, got out of bed, washed and got herself dressed. She could walk unaided once again. Her excruciating headaches were a thing of the past and she had regained use of her right arm and eye. Please click here see the attached PDF article from the South China Morning Post newspaper and rejoice with me: She is alive!

Lastly, thank you for your prayers, e-mailing to friends and donating. Through your generosity we received HK$138,700 and we will apply this to Dou Ge's bills. As you will recall from my November 24th post there is a little seven-year-old boy, Cai Ran, who has hydrocephalus (water on the brain) we are also trying to save. Any donations not spent on Dou Ge will be applied to helping Cai Ran.

Over the last few weeks my staff have worked hard to try and find a hospital that can help Cai Ran. His head is now 70cm (see attached MRI) and he cannot hold it up independently. Only the Tian Tan Hospital in Beijing has the specialization needed to help and even then it will be a challenge to transport him there. Please continue praying for him and circulating this information to everybody you know. If you are able to donate that would also be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and God Bless you!

Siew Mei

What a beautiful testimony to our Lord Jesus! When people come together in His Name and each do their part, His will is done and we can all rejoice!
