Come join us on the streets!

We've been granted a Flag Day by the Social Welfare Department, so on June 4 Christian Action staff and volunteers (we need more!) will be taking to the streets under the patronage of Celebrity Miss Corinna Chamberlain.

This is an early invitation to you to please buy one or more of our adorable stickers designed by our friend and artist, Jeanie Leung. Each sticker features a different blessing in English or Chinese. Each one aims to share the love of Christ who came and demonstrated his care for the poor, the sick, the disabled, and all who lived without hope. Your donation will help us to reach our target of HK$800,000 so that we can continue with our essential service to those less fortunate than ourselves.

If this is the first time you've seen this website, then please browse some of my previous posts and you'll see that Christian Action serves many sectors of our community, including New Arrivals who need all the help they can get before they can be a contributing part of our community.

Our humanitarian and social service programmes provide continual resources and opportunities for those who are disadvantaged, insuring that many more experience a brighter future! Of course, serving so many comes at a great cost. Few things have stretched my faith as much as relying heavily on fundraising to sustain all our services. One thing I've learned throughout the years is that time and again God has provided through people like you so that we may continue giving help where it is needed!

An event of such magnitude requires many hands, over 3,000 actually! I would be honoured to have you, your family, friends, organization or church group join us for a few hours to sell flags for this great cause. Or simply consider giving to meet our overall goal. The last time we were chosen was in 2011, so this is truly an exciting opportunity to raise funds and awareness for the underprivileged. Click here to register as a volunteer or make a donation!

Blessings to you all,
Siew Mei
