Celebrating 25 Years of Training Services

It has been 25 years since Christian Action started its training services. Since 1993, CA has been a beacon of hope to the unemployed and job seekers by equipping them with the skills they need to earn a living and contribute to our society. To date, we have had over 280,000 attendances. Over 110,000 successful graduates have found employment.

To celebrate this milestone, we hosted a corporate luncheon on 15 November. We were honoured to have with us Mr. Byron Ng, BBS, Executive Director of Employees Retraining Board (ERB), Mr. Patrick Pang, Deputy Executive Director (Training Services), ERB, the Hon. Wilson Or, and the Hon. Jeremy Tam, Legislative Council Members. Their presence made our gathering even more memorable.

I opened the event by sharing memories of our training services, from our humble beginnings to today. As I look back, I realise that God has truly blest us through the years. Mr. Byron Ng also gave an inspiring speech and pointed out that Christian Action truly deserves the awards it has received and a big LIKE for its efforts!

The afternoon was filled with joy! The guests and I participated in different game booths with fun activities like circle and light painting. We also had a booth that introduced the different foods, traditions, and famous landmarks of ethnic minorities in our community. I really enjoyed the light painting booth and ended up giving myself angel wings!

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to our Training Services Division for making our luncheon a great success. I am also thankful for their unwavering passion in serving the unserved, and giving a sense of hope and happiness to them and their families for the past 25 years. I continue to pray that everyone will continue to serve with even greater commitment so that they can impact the lives of others for years to come.
