Season of Love

Autumn is finally here! I get excited when the leaves float down from trees, and the temperature drops from summer heat to cool autumn breezes. This heralds our upcoming winter holidays. It is truly a season of refreshing change.

Autumn is a reminder that the holiday season is fast approaching, and the sad fact that many children are unable to celebrate the holiday in the way the majority of us celebrate. At Christian Action we aim to share the love and joy with all our vulnerable children in Qinghai and Hong Kong by holding a charity drive. We call this charity drive our “Season of Love”. It runs from November to January. The Season of Love is one of our flagship projects because it generates funds for children in need.

This year, we are blessed to once again have the beloved Japanese characters TAMA and FRIENDS and TVB actor Tsui Wing as our Caring Ambassadors for the charity drive event. Our drive last year would not have been so successful without their positive energy and help. I am confident that this year’s campaign will be another fruitful one!

Tsui Wing says:

“This is my second year as the ambassador of this event, because I believe that this is a charity sale worth supporting. The items will not only be gifts to our loved ones, but will also be blessings of hope to children whose lives should be changed for the better. I also hope that everyone within our communities would continue caring about and helping the forgotten in any way we can.”
