God Plans Wonderful Ways

I love watching the Lord work wonders in the lives of our children in Qinghai. Muyang, for example, is a very special young man who I've known for the last 18 years.

In 2003, we found Muyang abandoned as a newborn with spina bifida. He desperately needed life saving surgeries. Volunteers and donors enabled surgeries in Beijing and Hong Kong. Then came even more operations and physical therapy in order to help him walk. Through all of this Muyang's positive attitude was unshakable.

Muyang lived with his foster family until he was nine years old when a devout couple from the US adopted him and became his forever family. He came to love the Lord and was baptised in 2013. Today, Muyang is finishing high school and serves in many ministries at church.

Knowing that God has blessed him abundantly, Muyang wants to share his story with everyone, especially his foster parents in Xining.

After Muyang graduates from high school next year, he plans to attend bible school, become a pastor and return to Qinghai to serve with Christian Action. I am beyond amazed and thankful for Muyang and how God planned such wonderful ways in his life.
