A Fruitful Harvest for Christmas

Dear Friends,

It’s Christmas! Let's celebrate the gift of Jesus Christ and remember all the blessings of the year.

On behalf of those who are hurting, hungry, disadvantaged, marginalised, displaced and abandoned in our Hong Kong community I would like to thank every staff member, volunteer and supporter. You have helped Hong Kong's needy know that they are loved!

In Qinghai, COVID halted our travel but not our work! Our team held online trainings and Zoom to keep the Qinghai staff encouraged and at the top of their game.

To our overseas adopted Qinghai children and parents - you light up our world! Your emails, cards and visits that overflow with the stories of serving others and your aspirations to be astronauts, pastors, biologists, artists and healthcare professionals inspire all of us to persevere.

It is Christmas and regardless of where you were born, be it in Qinghai in difficult circumstances, in Hong Kong or China to a low-income family, in a foreign land to refugee parents, you can find hope in the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was born in a stable in Bethlehem, Israel. He too was born into difficult circumstances and endured hardships so he knows what it is like. He asks us to trust in Him and invite Him into our hearts.

2021 has brought unprecedented hardships, but through you, and this wonderful family that we call ‘Christian Action’, we have seen God’s hand at work. May the Lord Jesus bless you and keep you and may His face shine upon your family this Christmas season!

In love,

Siew Mei

P.S. If you're in Hong Kong and looking for gifts for friends why not buy a gift pack of dried fruit and nuts? Read more - Season of Love Charity Drive!
