Great is Your Faithfulness

One of the great things about us is that we have so many programmes that are tailored to serve people's particular needs. This includes training for the unemployed, supporting the ethnic minorities and caring for Chinese orphans.'

Christian Action is in the people business. We are a team of people who are privileged with serving other people in their moment of need. Two of those team members, along with other long-time employees, were recently recognized in a ceremony that celebrated their long service.

TANG Wai-Pong (Ah Pong), received a service award for his 25 years of commitment and faithfulness. Ah Pong started out with us as a handyman. He has since become one of our most knowledgeable IT technicians, solving all the computer and technical issues that our staff have!

LEUNG Wai-Ping (Sister Ping) another of our unsung heroes, also received a 25 years services award for excellence. She has played many vital roles over the years. More recently she worked tirelessly when we relocated our Headquarters. She was also key in keeping our premises clean and hygienic during the pandemic. I was touched when she said, “Mrs. Cheung is being so nice to all of us here. She always cares about whether we’re heavy-laden. My colleagues are all easy going and I enjoy working with them a lot.”

There were many great heroes acknowledged for their long service in 2021. Thank you to all of them! And may the light of Christ also shine on you as you go out and serve the world!
