Seeking Wise Counsel

Each year Marlon and I visit the United States, a highlight is our time with Elizabeth Styffe. Elizabeth is the Director of Global HIV/AIDS and Orphan Care Ministry at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California. She has proven to be an encouraging and vital friend of Christian Action.

Throughout the years Elizabeth has been a great encouragement, not only to me, but also to Marlon and our Christian Action Asia Advancement Director, Kerry Schottelkorb. Elizabeth and the leadership team at Saddleback Church firmly believe the global church is responsible to provide a "forever family" for each of the 153 million orphans in the world.

I am so grateful for experienced and zealous people like Elizabeth who provides loving support, wisdom, and counsel as we seek to better serve the 36,000 orphaned, disabled and at-risk children and youth on the Tibetan Plateau in Qinghai Province.
