The Miracle of Teamwork

History is replete with stories of people who have met their demise after falling on hard times. The privilege of our work however, is that we bring together a team of caring and like-minded organizations and individuals so that today’s needy don’t have to be left behind.

One example of teamwork is how the Lo Kwee Seong Foundation helped us to respond to the increased demand for a more technically proficient workforce in Hong Kong. Together with Lo Kwee Seong a five-year training Programme, called “Go Digital Career”, was created. Another key team member is Xccelerate, one of Hong Kong's leading TechEdu start-ups!

I am pleased to share that on 16th July 2022 our very first class of the “Go Digital Career” Programme held its graduation ceremony! A total of 20 trainees, aged 24 to 36, proudly graduated from the 200-hour long Web Development Course. Prior to the course all the trainees had a history of unstable incomes and longed to acquire web development skills!

Our Digital Learning Centre at Choi Wan Headquarters has been a great asset to the trainees. The Crossroads Foundation, the third crucial member in our team, also helped make this miracle happen for the trainees by providing refurbished laptop computers for their work!
