A Fabulous Fundraiser – Without Rain!

Our annual ‘3-Legged Charity Walk’ fundraiser at The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club was a huge success! It was held last Saturday with almost 700 people attending and over HK$650,000 was donated!

Many of you prayed for the event as rain was forecast for the day. Thankfully God miraculously held off the heavy rain until right after the outdoor activities were done! There were tons of fun activities, with the game booths being the most popular among the children.

One of the children exclaimed, "The games here are so much fun! I don't want it to end! I want to come back next year!"

What brought me so much joy was seeing all the smiling, sponsored underprivileged children, happily running and playing in the spectacular scenery. I’m certain that the memory of all the fun they had will last them a lifetime.

This event would not have been possible without: our title sponsor, THMC Medical Group; our many other sponsors; The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club; our marvelous Caring Ambassador, Grace Chan; the many organisations who provided volunteers; my colleagues at Christian Action; and lastly, all of you who gave, supported and prayed. I hope that this event inspires you to continue supporting underprivileged children and get even more people to join with us. I look forward to seeing you at the 2024 ‘3-Legged Charity Walk’!
