Back to Serve featured in SCMP

On October 16, the international edition of the South China Morning Post included a lengthy article on two young women who had once been cared for in our children's home in Qinghai. The article was included in the Families section. My hope is that this wide publicity will raise a lot more support for Christian Action 's service to orphans and abandoned, disabled children.

An Answered Prayer

Since our humble beginnings in Qinghai in 1997, we have served over 1,300 children through our rehabilitation centre and our homes. We went to Qinghai with some of our staff to take some photographs and record videos of the services we have provided to underprivileged, abandoned, and disabled children in the province for 20 years.

Whatever we had given to serve our Lord, on that trip we received!

Many long-term residents of Hong Kong know very little of our history other than the fact that it was once part of the British Empire. To give some of our poorest residents and new arrivals the opportunity to learn more than that we took them on a tour!

Under Our Shelter

For thousands of people of many nationalities who are forced to flee their own home-lands for a range of reasons, Hong Kong is known to be a place where they will find shelter.

Capturing that history of care, and telling that story without words, is what we did recently by holding a photographic exhibition titled "Under our Shelter".
